| Mr. Besaw started his accounting career in 1969 with the national accounting firm Peat, Marwick & Mitchell (KPMG Peat | |||||||||||||||||
| Marwick) in Portland, Maine. He returned to Vermont in 1974 to join the accounting firm, P.F. Jurges & Co., now merged into KPMG Peat Marwick. Mr. Besaw established a firm in 1984, which was merged into Telling & Besaw PLLC in 1994, In 1998 he formed his own firm, Gene A. Besaw & Associates. Mr. Besaw is licensed as a CPA in the State of Vermont. He works with a wide variety of clients, both large and small and in many industries, including construction, manufacturing, distribution, retail, nonprofit and government. Mr. Besaw has built his firm on a foundation of innovation and expertise, exploring with his staff new ways of enhancing business, growth and finance. It is this experience and training that they extend to their customers and their businesses. |
